Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute social media strategies that build brand awareness, generate inbound traffic, increase engagement and ensure current social media strategy aligns with client’s goals and objectives
  • Stay on top of current social media trends, insights from content, and best practices of the ever-changing social media world
  • Generate and follow a social media content calendar
  • Create, publish, and share content across various platforms in accordance with our client's social media calendar
  • Track, measure, analyze and report on campaign results

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube) and how they can be deployed
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
  • Good technical understanding and can learn new digital marketing software quickly
  • Excellent collaboration skills, to work seamlessly across both creative and digital teams

Qualifications:

  • Must be positive, fast-paced, and flexible
  • 3-5 years of proven and demonstrable working experience in social media marketing and acting in a leadership role as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in advertising, marketing, communications or related field
  • Ability to work effectively in an independent, flexible in-office/remote hybrid work setting along with being able to collaborate creative, account services and leadership teams
  • Excellent consulting, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with the willingness to assist in creating longer and shorter form content, if needed
  • Experience with social analytics, social listening, and scheduling tools
  • High attention to detail with solid organizational skills
  • Desire to learn, collaborate and contribute
  • Positive attitude and client-oriented mindset, even in the face of adversity
