Bader Philanthropies: Supporting our communities through a pandemic

As Wisconsin and Milwaukee mandated a shutdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Bader Philanthropies’ Board of Directors swiftly approved $1 million of expedited grants to help organizations continue their work under new restrictions and health considerations.

Bader Philanthropies partnered with ZG to announce the grants. ZG focused the press release on a $100,000 grant awarded to IMPACT 211. In addition, ZG developed a targeted media list and overall messaging and worked with Bader Philanthropies and IMPACT 211 to identify key spokespeople, photos and visuals to share.

Despite a media landscape inundated with stories from other philanthropic foundations announcing financial assistance, ZG produced amazing results including 20 stories in print, broadcast and online media for a total of about 3.3 million impressions. Additionally, contributions to IMPACT 211 increased 3,106% when comparing YOY May-Aug 2019 to 2020.
