Hitting a Mutual Milestone with Associated Bank
How do you help an entire community plan for their financial futures? By letting them know you’ll be there every step of the way.
As part of our CONVERGE program, we partnered with Associated Bank and Fox 6 Milwaukee to bring its consumer financial education campaign to life with Mutual Milestones, the first phase of which launched on August 20.
Fueled by the expertise of Associated Bank and supported the talent of our local Fox affiliate, Mutual Milestones is a multimedia initiative that embodies the bank’s vision of improving people’s lives by providing excellent education, helpful tips, relatable stories and small business content.
“Financial literacy is a core tenant of Associated Bank”, says John Utz, Associate Bank Milwaukee Market President. “Whether buying a home, saving for retirement, or just trying to be smart with your money, banking and finance can be scary for a lot of people. We get that. What makes Mutual Milestones exciting for us is that it gives us a platform to promote financial literacy, show our commitment to the community, and, really, just take that intimidation factor out of the equation by providing this actionable, relatable resource.”
Although Mutual Milestones content appears within traditional and social media, the custom-built website serves as a community hub. Positive and empowering, the site uses curated media to engage consumers with information that will help them achieve better financial health, improved efficiency, and peace of mind. Future phases of the site will include more interactive financial planning tools and additional topic-driven content.
